Billing
How to cancel a gay porn site membership and stop the rebill
By GayCompare Editors Published 18 sources
Short answer
Cancel the recurring billing with the company that charges your card, not by deleting your profile. Match the name on your statement to its biller (CCBill, Epoch, Segpay, Vendo, Verotel, or Aylo Billing, shown as Probiller or AyloBill, for Men.com and Sean Cody), cancel through that biller's own page a few days before renewal, and keep the confirmation email until the next statement comes in clean.
- Deleting your profile is a separate request from cancelling. Cancel first and keep the confirmation.
- Your statement usually names the payment company, not the site. Epoch says the site name will not appear at all.
- Gay Wire's $1 trial and Icon Male's intro offers rebill at $39.99 every 30 days, above their $29.99 monthly plans.
- The FTC's 2024 click-to-cancel amendments were vacated in 2025. California's online-cancellation law still covers California consumers.
- Dispute a charge with your card issuer only after the biller fails to fix it.
Cancel the billing, not the profile
Cancelling and deleting are two different requests. Cancelling stops the recurring charge. Deleting removes your account or your personal data.
Men.com’s billing support page keeps them apart. Its contact form has one option to cancel a membership and another to access or delete your data, and it says data requests can take up to 30 days to process. None of the billing terms we read for this guide lists account deletion as a way to stop a renewal.
So do it in order. Cancel, wait for the confirmation email, then request deletion if you want it. Keep your login until the cancellation is confirmed.
Cancelling does not always cut you off on the spot. Vendo’s FAQ says you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Find out who actually bills you
The name on your card statement is often the payment company, not the site. Epoch puts it plainly: your statement will not show the name of the website. Men.com’s billing FAQ says you will see its billing company’s name instead, and that your welcome email names that company. Match the line to the biller below, then use that biller’s own page. Most find your purchase from two details, such as your email and card number.
- CCBill (statement refers to ccbill.com). Use Search/Cancel a Subscription with two of: email, card number, account number, transaction ID or subscription ID. CCBill’s consumer terms say all cancellations of a site subscription must also be directed to CCBill.
- Epoch (statement shows Epoch.com). Find My Purchase takes any two of four fields. Epoch says to cancel from there and emails a confirmation to the address you used at purchase.
- Segpay. The consumer portal finds a purchase from two of three details, such as card number, email and purchase ID. Segpay’s FAQ says consumers can look up transactions and cancel memberships there.
- Vendo (statement shows VendoStore and a brand name). The Vendo Customer Portal shows billing history and lets you cancel. You can also request cancellation by email.
- Verotel (statement shows vtsup.com). The cancel page needs your email and a card number. vtsup.com also has a lookup for unexpected charges.
- Probiller or AyloBill (Men.com, Sean Cody). The Men.com and Sean Cody terms list four ways to cancel: the Cancel login on the support site, the Support link in the members’ area footer, the support team, or the cancel link in your receipt. The same terms say Probiller, AyloBill, Vendo, Segpay, WTS or others may appear on your statement, depending on where you live. Probiller says its agents can stop a recurring membership by phone, chat or email, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm Eastern.
If nothing matches, search your inbox for the site’s welcome email or receipt.
Cancel early, not on the last day
Renewal is the default. CCBill’s terms say fees renew “for a similar period of time, unless notice is received from the Consumer before renewal.” The Men.com and Sean Cody terms say fees renew automatically “unless notice of cancellation is received from the Subscriber.”
Cancel a few days before the renewal date, not on it. If you only want one term and your biller keeps access to the end of the paid period, as Vendo does, cancel soon after you join. Then check the confirmation for your end date. Epoch says its cancellation email confirms the final date and amount you were billed.
Annual plans are where a missed date hurts most. Men.com costs $8.33/mo on a 12-month plan ($99.99 billed up front) and auto-rebills $99.99 every 365 days. NakedSword costs $16.58/mo on a 12-month plan ($199 billed up front) and auto-renews for a similar period. The median 12-month plan in our price index costs $100 up front. Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you buy.
If price is the reason you’re leaving, the best-value ranking compares the cheapest long plans before you sign up somewhere else.
Trials that rebill above the monthly price
Cheap intro offers turn into paid memberships on their own. Men.com’s billing FAQ says trial memberships “automatically convert to standard monthly memberships unless canceled within the trial period.” CCBill’s terms say trial and special-offer fees “shall renew at the stated rate.”
The stated rate is not always the regular one. Gay Wire’s 2-day $1 trial rebills at $39.99 every 30 days, while its regular monthly plan is $29.99. Icon Male’s 7-day $7 and 2-day $1 offers also rebill at $39.99 every 30 days, against a $29.99 monthly plan. The Men.com, Sean Cody and TwinkPop trials rebill at the regular $29.99.
| Site | Offer and rebill, as stated | Regular monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Helix Studios | 3-day trial for $4.99 (streaming only), then $21.99 a month. | $34.99 |
| Men.com | 2-day limited trial for $1, then $29.99 every 30 days. | $29.99 |
| Sean Cody | 7 days for $7 or a 2-day limited trial for $1; both rebill at $29.99 every 30 days. | $29.99 |
| TwinkPop | 2-day limited trial for $1, then $29.99 every 30 days. | $29.99 |
| Gay Wire | 2-day limited trial for $1 that rebills at $39.99 every 30 days, more than the regular monthly plan. | $29.99 |
| Icon Male | 7 days for $7 or 2 days for $1; both rebill at $39.99 every 30 days. | $29.99 |
On Gay Wire and Icon Male, staying on after the trial costs more each month than joining on the monthly plan. If you only want a look, cancel inside the trial window and check that the confirmation shows no further charge.
Get proof, then check the next statement
- Save the cancellation email. Men.com’s billing FAQ says it goes to your sign-up address, so check spam if it’s missing.
- Record the reference. Note the subscription ID, member ID or purchase ID, plus the date you cancelled. Epoch tells members to keep their member ID for any contact with billing support.
- Screenshot the final screen. It’s your backup if the email never arrives.
- Cancel add-ons too. Probiller’s FAQ says a charge after you cancel may come from an extra membership package picked at sign-up that is still active. Men.com’s cancel login covers memberships and add-ons.
- Read the next statement. Look past your renewal date. If a charge still appears, go back to the biller with your proof. Vendo asks for the first 6 and last 4 card digits, your purchase email and any cancellation reference.
Chargebacks are the last resort
A chargeback is a dispute you file with your card issuer. It can reverse a charge, but give the biller a chance to fix it first.
For credit cards, the FTC’s guide to disputing billing errors says your letter should reach the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent, at the address for billing inquiries, not the payment address. That process covers credit cards and revolving charge accounts. If you paid by debit card, ask your bank what applies.
The downsides are real:
- The Men.com and Sean Cody terms say chargebacks are investigated and “may prevent future purchases” with Aylo Billing or the site.
- CCBill’s terms say that if you cancel or ask for a refund over unauthorized or fraudulent use, CCBill may block your information from use by all CCBill merchants.
- Cancelling does not refund past renewals. CCBill’s terms say past recurring fees are not refundable when you end a subscription.
Ask the biller for a refund first. The Aylo terms, for example, take credit card refund requests within 120 days of the original transaction and review them case by case. They also rule out refunds for partly used memberships.
What the rules say in 2026
This is a summary of public rules, not legal advice.
Federal. The FTC’s 2024 click-to-cancel amendments to its Negative Option Rule are not in force. The Eighth Circuit vacated them on July 8, 2025 in Custom Communications, Inc. v. FTC. The FTC restored the older rule text effective February 12, 2026. On March 11, 2026 it asked for public comment on whether to regulate negative option marketing again, including whether to amend the current rule. That request, published in the Federal Register on March 13, is still the latest entry on the FTC’s rule page.
California. Business and Professions Code section 17602 covers automatic renewal offers made to consumers in California. Its 2024 amendments (AB 2863) apply to contracts entered into, amended or extended on or after July 1, 2025. The statute says:
- If you signed up online, the business must let you cancel online, at will and immediately, through a prominent direct link or button or a ready-made termination email. It may ask you to log in first.
- A retention offer shown during online cancellation must sit beside a “click to cancel” link or button.
- A trial offer must clearly explain the price charged after the trial ends.
- Annual plans need a yearly reminder, and plans with a first term of a year or longer need a notice 15 to 45 days before renewal.
The law is the backstop. The fast route is still the biller’s own cancel page and a saved confirmation. When you pick your next site, compare plans on our main ranking and read the renewal terms on the join page before you pay.
