Helix Studios
Helix's 3-day streaming-only trial costs $4.99 and then moves to $21.99 a month.
- Downloads: Some plans
- Single studio
- 4,000+ scenes
- Year wins from month 5
Why it's #1
Helix's 3-day streaming-only trial costs $4.99 and then moves to $21.99 a month. That post-trial charge is lower than Helix's regular $34.99 month-to-month plan, although its 12-month promo is still much cheaper per month.
Skip if three days is too short to judge the studio, or if you want downloads during the trial; the trial is streaming only.
The 12-month price is a seasonal promo with no end date shown.
Shorter plan: $29.99 for 3 months, streaming only.

$1 network trial
Men.com
Men.com sells a 2-day limited trial for $1 and then charges $29.99 every 30 days.
- Downloads: Not stated
- Studio network (includes TwinkPop)
- Year wins from month 4
Why it's #2
Men.com sells a 2-day limited trial for $1 and then charges $29.99 every 30 days. The trial converts to the same recurring price as the normal monthly membership, so the risk is forgetting the date rather than a hidden higher rebill.
Skip if two days is not enough time to test a large network or if you already expect to stay long enough for the $99.99 year to make more sense.
Sales tax may be added at checkout.

Skip if you would rather test the broader Men.com network for the same recurring price.

Higher rebill trap
Gay Wire
Gay Wire's $1 two-day trial rebills at $39.99 every 30 days even though the regular monthly plan is $29.99.
- Downloads: Included
- Studio network
- 8,000+ videos
- Year wins from month 5
Why it's #5
Gay Wire's $1 two-day trial rebills at $39.99 every 30 days even though the regular monthly plan is $29.99. That makes the intro offer more expensive if you stay past the trial.
Skip if you might stay past the two days; joining on the normal monthly plan is cheaper after the intro period.
Avoid the $1 trial: it rebills at $39.99, not $29.99.

Our verdict
There are no zero-dollar free trials among the 19 join pages we verified. The real trial market is $1 to $7: Helix Studios has the lowest stated post-trial monthly charge at $21.99, while Gay Wire and Icon Male should be avoided unless you cancel because their intro offers rebill at $39.99, above their normal $29.99 monthly plans.
Helix has the cleanest trial math. Men.com and Sean Cody are straightforward if you want a cheap test and can remember the deadline. Gay Wire and Icon Male are the two to treat with extra caution because the advertised intro path rolls into a recurring price above their standard monthly membership.
How to choose
- Judge the rebill, not the entry price. The first charge is usually $1 to $7. The important number is what happens automatically after the trial, especially when the rebill is higher than the normal monthly plan.
- Set a cancellation reminder immediately. If you only want the trial, put the deadline in your calendar as soon as you join and save the cancellation confirmation. Our cancellation guide covers the common billing companies.
- Compare against the yearly plan before testing. A trial can be useful for fit, but if you already know the studio and expect to stay, the 12-month plan often beats repeated monthly billing quickly.
