Methodology

How we compare sites

The goal is not to generate a giant ranking. It is to make the buying decision legible.

1. Start with fit

We group sites by the job a shopper is trying to solve: performer type, catalog breadth, downloads, or price. A niche winner can outrank a larger site on a niche page without pretending it is universally better.

2. Separate sticker price from commitment

Where we have a dated plan record, we show the effective monthly rate and the upfront long-plan total. We do not present an annual monthly equivalent as if it were a monthly charge.

3. Research-based unless stated otherwise

Current pages use public tours, provider pricing, catalog observations and related evidence. We do not claim paid subscription testing unless it actually happened and is recorded.

4. Affiliate economics do not set editorial order

A provider may pay a commission if a visitor buys through an approved partner link. That relationship can influence which commercial modules are available, but it does not change editorial fit or ranking order.

5. The checkout page is final

Adult membership pricing changes. Every price here is evidence from a point in time. Before paying, verify the live amount, renewal terms, download rights and cancellation path on the provider's checkout.
