Gay porn networks explained: who owns which site

Short answer
Going by the companies their own pages name, 15 of the 65 sites we track sit in three groups: Aylo (Men.com, Sean Cody, TwinkPop, Icon Male, Gay Wire), WebMediaProz and Modburst (PeterFever, GayAsianNetwork, Japanboyz, HiroyaXXX, Yoshi Kawasaki XXX) and Mania Media (Twinks in Shorts, Athletic Twinks, Bear Films, Hairy and Raw, Bear Chubs). A shared owner rarely means a shared login. Only a network membership, such as Men.com, covers more than one site.
- Men.com's join page says one membership covers its network of sites and names TwinkPop, Bromo and WhyNotBi.
- Sean Cody, Icon Male and Gay Wire share Men.com's owner and biller, but each sells its own membership.
- A network is one login to many sites. Sister sites are separate logins from one company.
- Compare the yearly bill either way: Men.com's network year is $99.99, and Sean Cody alone is $119.99.
Network, sister site or single studio
Three things get called a “network”, and only one of them gets you more for one price.
- A network membership is one login to several sites or studios. In our data, Men.com, Gay Wire and Say Uncle are studio networks, NakedSword is a multi-studio library and GayAsianNetwork is a multi-site network.
- Sister sites share an owner but sell separate memberships. Sean Cody and Men.com are sister sites: one company, two bills.
- Single studios and performer-led sites sell one catalog. Most of the 65 sites we track are this kind.

The Aylo sites
Each of the five Customer Terms of Service, for Men.com, Sean Cody, TwinkPop, Icon Male and Gay Wire, names Aylo Premium Ltd as the controller of the site. Each join page says it uses Probiller as its biller.
Only one of them is a bundle. Men.com’s join page says a membership gives you full access to its network of sites and names WhyNotBi, Bromo and TwinkPop among them. Sean Cody, Icon Male and Gay Wire are not named there, and each has its own join page and price:
- Men.com: $8.33/mo on a 12-month plan ($99.99 billed up front)
- Sean Cody: $10.00/mo on a 12-month plan ($119.99 billed up front)
- Icon Male: $10.00/mo on a 12-month plan ($119.99 billed up front)
- Gay Wire: $10.00/mo on a 12-month plan ($119.99 billed up front)
TwinkPop also sells a standalone pass, but it costs the same as Men.com, which includes it. Our Men.com network page ranks all five.
The WebMediaProz sites
The join pages of PeterFever, GayAsianNetwork, Japanboyz, HiroyaXXX and Yoshi Kawasaki XXX all name WebMediaProz LLC, in Las Vegas, and Modburst Limited, in Cyprus, and print the same statement lines. GayAsianNetwork is the network of the group; its join page does not list which sites a membership includes, so check its tour before you buy. The other four sell their own memberships, and all five list a $99 one-year special.
The Mania Media sites
The join pages of Twinks in Shorts, Athletic Twinks, Bear Films, Hairy and Raw and Bear Chubs all name Mania Media World and Mania Media Inc, and the same billing agents, Vendo or CCBill. Each sells its own membership, and our data lists all five as single studios. A bear fan and a twink fan can end up paying the same company without knowing it, and still need two memberships.
The independents
The other four sites don’t share a company name with any site we track. Helix Studios’ join page credits Ravana LLC and BoyFun’s credits EENT, Inc.; NakedSword’s and Say Uncle’s join pages name no company. NakedSword is the broadest of them, a multi-studio library of 45,000+ scenes.
Bundle or single studio?
A network wins when you want range and would otherwise buy two sites. A single studio wins when one look is the point and the network’s extra sites would go unwatched. Either way, compare the amount billed today, not the logo count. Our network ranking compares the five network memberships by yearly bill, and the main ranking mixes networks and studios.
